What Information Do I Need to Order Replacement Lenses?
To make sure your new sunglass lenses fit right, it's important to know how to correctly identify your frame. Just look at the inside of the temple of your frame to find out what kind and size of sunglasses you have. The model of the eyewear can be a word, a number, or sometimes both.
If you're not sure, send us a picture of the inside of your frame's temple, and we'll be happy to confirm the model of your sunglasses.
What Information Do I Need to Order Prescription Lenses?
Here's what we need to know about your prescription before you send us your glasses so we can make and put in your prescription lenses.
1. A photo of your prescription
The prescription must be signed by a doctor and can't be more than two years old or expired.
2. Your Pupillary Distance (PD) (The distance between your eyes)
The number of millimeters between your pupils is your pupillary distance (PD) value. This is needed to put the optical center of the lens in the right place. If you don't know your PD, you can ask your doctor for it or use our instructions and PD ruler, which you can download here.
3. Your Segment Height (only for progressive lenses)
The Segment Height is the distance in millimeters from the bottom of the lens to where the progressive addition starts. If you don't know your segment height, you can ask your doctor for it or use our instructions and segment height ruler, which you can download here.
You can send your prescription with your order or later.
When you order, you can upload a picture of your prescription and pupillary distance (PD) so that your order can be processed more quickly.
You can also place your order without uploading your prescription and send it to us after. We'll send you a message telling you what we need from you. Note: If you send your prescription and PD later, the order process will take longer.
